Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary, dynamic and experienced Global People Director to elevate our Human Resources function to the next level, supporting the successful achievement of our ambition growth strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and refining our HR strategy, focusing on empowering our people to achieve success.

This role will drive the execution of the Global People Plan 2025-2026, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration and performance across the organization. You will lead a team of HR Managers and HR Business partners across the regions: Americas, Europe and Middle East Asia. In this role you will report to the CEO of Intero Group,

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Board of Directors and Global Leadership Team on all HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the implementation of the Global People Plan 2025-2026, ensuring all initiatives are effectively executed and implemented.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes and HR systems, that empower employees and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR regulations and standards at the global and regional levels.
  • Strengthen the organization's culture by reinforcing company values, behaviors, and leadership competencies.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Attract, hire, and onboard talent who align with the organization's culture, values, and future needs.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.
  • Provide opportunities for employees to grow and succeed.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure HR performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required Experiences, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in an international HR role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Knowledge of HR labor law regulations in the US, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, and overall HR best practices.
  • Experience in M&A and integrations is preferred.
  • Experience with AFAS.
  • Excellent in stakeholder management.
  • Excellent in creating positive impact in organizations
  • Facilitation, training and coaching skills.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • People Oriented.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Work Environment

This global role is headquartered in Tricht, The Netherlands, with a requirement to work from this location at least three days per week.
