Back Office Manager (m/f/x)

Your position
As Backoffice Manager you will be responsible for coordination and follow up of all back office related activities in the Intero – The Sniffers group.
This role reports directly to the Emissions Division (ED) Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing back office efficiency and reporting to the ED Ops manager, including satellite operations.
- Managing the lead time for Backoffice projects, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of invoice data.
- Coordinating workload distribution with Team Leaders in the back office, including those from satellite locations (e.g., Romania).
- Planning, organizing, and managing daily activities and projects in collaboration with the planning division.
- Coaching, managing, supervising, and motivating team members to enhance performance.
- Ensuring adherence to ISO 17025/9001 standards and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Conducting final checks on reports (including advice) for accuracy and regulatory compliance prior to customer release.
- Setting up dashboards and KPIs to monitor progress and forecast workload.
- Reviewing project scopes in sales offers for projects exceeding a specified budget or complexity.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. In-depth understanding of the technical-chemical process industry.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in an operational service environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Lean advocate with a focus on process improvement and creativity.
- Exceptional people management skills with the ability to motivate internal employees.
- Experience in managing teams and facilitating communication across multiple sites.
- Strong communicator and motivator, driven by results and action-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
