Account Manager for the Dutch market

Your position

As an Account Manager, you will oversee an established portfolio of clients generating approximately €3.5 million in annual revenue, with a focus on emissions measurement solutions. Your role will combine farming (60%) and hunting (40%), maintaining and expanding existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities across the Netherlands. Supported by our Sales Support Team in Belgium, you’ll have the autonomy to work from home, be on the road, or utilize our office in Dordrecht as needed.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Client Portfolio Management: Maintain and grow relationships with a diverse range of clients within the petrochemical sector.
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new clients to expand our customer base.
  • Customized Solutions: Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within your region.
  • Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations.
  • Industry Representation: Attend trade events and networking opportunities to enhance our company’s presence.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

Who are we looking for:

We are seeking a colleague with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Affinity: Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the petrochemical sector and technical services.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on value-based selling.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze client needs and market trends effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
  • Willingness to Travel: Comfortable being on the road regularly across the Netherlands.
  • Eager to excel in a dynamic role
