The client needed to clean and inspect two 6" brine saltwater pipelines at a gas storage cavern facility in the USA.

With no previous pigging history and minimal pipeline records, the condition of the lines was largely unknown. Risks included potential tight radius bends, wall thickness variations, heavy scaling, and debris accumulation.

All work had to be executed within a short shutdown window, making schedule certainty, safety, and data quality critical to project success.
